Starting today, FIRST® Tech Challenge teams and individuals based in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico looking to join the program for the 2026-2027 BIOBUZZ™ presented by RTX season can create an account or log in to a refreshed FIRST® Dashboard experience.
If you are outside of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico please contact your local FIRST Program Delivery Partner for information on season and event registration.
This refreshed Dashboard experience brings many improvements to team management and youth registration as well as the ability to update financial guarantor information ahead of the new FIRST Storefront opening.
Updates to FIRST Tech Challenge Purchasing
Starting this season, all FIRST Tech Challenge teams registering through the FIRST Dashboard will purchase their season registration and materials through the new FIRST Storefront.
If your team previously had PITSCO set up as a vendor with your school/organization, please take this time to add FIRST as a payor before the Storefront opens. Teams will no longer be directed to the FIRST Tech Challenge PITSCO Storefront.
You can review the FIRST Payment Terms for some of the required vendor set up information. If you need additional details or have questions, please submit a ticket through the FIRST Help Center.
Financial Guarantor Set Up
If your team plans to apply a sales tax exemption certificate or purchase their registration or product using a purchase order, the team profile will need to be associated with a financial guarantor.
You can search or set up your financial guarantor now from the “Team/Account Finances” tab using an organization or institution EIN (or international equivalent).
Taking the time now to start or complete this process will set your team up for a faster checkout experience.

Update Your Team’s Participation Plans
If you’re a returning FIRST Tech Challenge team, you can update your intent to participate in the BIOBUZZ season now on the updated individual team profile.
Sharing your intent to participate early gives your team direct access to season-specific communications tailored for participating teams. Ahead of event preferencing, only teams who share their intent to participate or directly subscribe will receive the BIOBUZZ team blast communications.
You can make this selection today in the FIRST Dashboard.
FIRST Storefront Opening
In July, the new FIRST Storefront will bring a new purchasing experience to teams, replacing the FIRST Tech Challenge PITSCO Storefront. Watch your email for updates regarding when registration payments through the new FIRST Storefront will be available. Prepare by reviewing 2026-2027 season registration pricing.
