The FIRST® Tech Challenge community will experience what Mexico has to offer: deep history, amazing culture, thriving industry, HUGE celebrations and some of the top robots in the world! On May 22nd 60 of the top FIRST Tech Challenge teams from Mexico, Latin America, and the world will gather in Monterrey to PLAY, CELEBRATE, and EXPLORE. Will your team be among them?
PLAY
We’re playing the official 2024-2025 game with no rule modifications. Teams who have earned advancement into this Premier Event will get another opportunity to showcase just how good they are playing INTO THE DEEP presented by RTX. The 60 teams will all compete in a single division, playing across 3 fields with full FIRST Tech Challenge judging and awards.
CELEBRATE
Anyone who has competed with a FIRST® team from Mexico understands – we know how to celebrate. Come for the robots, stay for the party! We’ve planned an official Team Social with music, and food. In addition, there are plenty of opportunities for team bonding beyond the typical tournament.

The need for a qualified labor force to support this industry has resulted in many top universities calling this city home, including as Tec de Monterrey, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and of course Tecmilenio. Most of them are part of the FIRST family here in Mexico.
