With an output of almost 8,000 packages per day, these innovative robots are helping the FedEx workforce tackle the surge of packages resulting from an online-ordering world. The goal is not for the robotic arms to replace human employees, though. Instead, the FedEx robots and staff members work together to sort parcels efficiently for delivery. This automation also provides an opportunity to enhance employees’ jobs, making them more comfortable, easier, and as safe as possible.
