We offered FIRST employees an opportunity to say "thank you" to an inspiring educator in their lives with the gift of a 2021 Christa McAuliffe Silver Dollar Commemorative coin. Dana Aucoin extended her thanks to Maryland educator Rose Young for her admirable commitment to FIRST.

Rose is incredibly dedicated to the FIRST mission, working hard to provide her support and advocacy throughout FIRST in Maryland. Not only has she been on committees for FIRST LEGO League Explore and Challenge, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition, but she has also served as a volunteer coordinator and run several qualifiers and tournaments. Rose is a coach, mentor, and teacher and serves as an amazing role model for all.
