Pre-Orders for 2026 Game Pieces

Last season, FIRST^®  Robotics Competition began allowing teams to pre-order select game pieces to address availability issues from previous seasons. We surveyed teams and ~61% of teams indicated that having the pre-order option was beneficial to teams. Additionally, ~72% of teams indicated that they would like to pre-order game pieces in the future. We’re continuing with that option for 2026 and have been working on adjustments to improve game piece quality and consistency. This season we’re again partnering with AndyMark to offer pre-orders for game pieces for REBUILT™ presented by Haas.

Pre-orders are starting today, July 9^th on the AndyMark website. Two quantity types will be sold for pre-order purchase: the Kickoff kit quantity (am-5801_kop), and partial (1/6) field quantity (am-5801_partial). Teams can order as many of each as they’d like to meet their team needs and budget. For example, teams that wish to order a full field worth of game pieces can order 6 of the partial (1/6) field quantities. We are intentionally not specifying the number of game pieces included in each quantity. Pre-orders will be open from now until Kickoff on January 10, 2026. After Kickoff, the game pieces will be available for regular order and will ship after pre-orders have been fulfilled. Game piece pre-orders will be prioritized and begin shipping January 12^th in the order they were received.

Sourcing game pieces for FIRST Robotics Competition is always a challenge. Each season, a prediction is made on how many game pieces will be needed for fields, kits, and team sales. Pre-orders will help to forecast demand and allow additional orders to be placed if sales are higher than expected. Pre-orders also allow for orders to be packed and shipped for quick delivery after Kickoff. We recommend placing an order early, especially if your team is planning on ordering quantities for a full or half field.

We understand that teams want details about the game to help make informed decisions on game piece purchases. We’re sharing some information now to assist teams with purchasing decisions while still keeping many details a surprise for Kickoff. For the 2026 season:

• All teams will receive game pieces in the Kickoff Kit Season Specific Box
• No additional game pieces will be available through FIRST Choice
• REBUILT has one type of game piece
• Robots will be allowed to hold multiple game pieces during the match
  
  

The game piece is a custom item manufactured overseas with properties specific to REBUILT. While similar items may be available from other sources, the only place to get the official game piece is in the Kickoff Kit or through AndyMark. REBUILT game piece pre-orders are not eligible for a return, nor can the order be combined to ship with other AndyMark orders. Payments for the pre-orders cannot be changed after payment has been received.
