In the videos, you’ll hear from the experts about the skills needed for their jobs, and the unique opportunities their careers in ocean exploration offer. The videos are intended to help you learn about different careers in ocean exploration, and to give inspiration for your season.

Do you want to dive even deeper? Embark on an OceanX Education Live Q&A Session aboard the OceanXplorer! 

OceanX Education will be hosting 3 live Zoom Q&A sessions from the OceanXplorer ship in September. These hour-long sessions will be hosted by Dr. AnnMarie Thomas, who has a background in ocean robotics and education, and a long history of involvement in FIRST^®. During the sessions, we will take questions from participants and give a tour of a few locations on the ship.

The FIRST LEGO League SUBMERGED season, part of the 2024-2025 ocean-inspired robotics season, FIRST^® DIVE^SM presented by Qualcomm, will challenge teams to use their STEM skills and creativity to explore the layers of the ocean and “sea” into the future.
