At FIRST®, we’re always looking for ways to improve and enhance the experience for our community. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we have updated our Reporting Portal for Youth Protection and Medical Incident concerns.
What’s Changing?
The reporting form will still collect the essential intake information. The technology powering the form has changed, which means improved functionality behind the scenes.
Important Dates & Details
- Where to find our reporting link: firstinspires.org/report remains the primary way to access our reporting portal and submit any youth protection concerns or medical incidents. Make sure that you are using/bookmarking this link to continue accessing our Reporting Portal.
- YPP cards update: Some of you may have received green wallet cards in the 2023-2024 season that contain information on our Code of Conduct and how to report issues to FIRST Youth Protection. While the hyperlink listed on the card is still correct, unfortunately, the QR code will stop working on March 7, 2025, when we sunset the prior reporting platform. We will be issuing new cards next season and, in the meantime, recommend using the firstinspires.org/report link which remains the best way to access our portal.
- Where to report non-YPP concerns: Feedback about issues surrounding game play, rule changes, and awards should not be submitted via this form. Instead, that feedback is best shared by contacting support at FIRST (or you can also get to the reporting portal from our main YPP website).
What Does This Mean for You?
Other than an updated and more user-friendly form, this change should be seamless, but we wanted to make the community aware. We’re confident this transition will help us better support our mission of providing a safe, inclusive, and impactful experience for all members of the FIRST community.
