This year's FIRST® Championship presented by BAE Systems was the largest FIRST® Tech Challenge event ever! We hosted 338 FIRST Tech Challenge teams from 27 countries around the world. Over four days, teams competed in matches, showcased their team’s engineering journey, and celebrated months of hard work. Check out a video of all the robots at the event here, and teams can download these pictures here!
The season theme FIRST AGE™ presented by Qualcomm drew inspiration from archaeology, challenging students across all programs to explore how past discoveries fuel future innovation. From robot design to judging interviews, teams spent months working through real engineering problems the same way professionals do: collaborating, failing, iterating, and ultimately building something they're proud of.
We’re especially grateful to our largest volunteer lineup of all time, thank you to the hundreds of volunteers that gathered in Houston to help FIRST® put on this event, and thank you to the hundreds of coaches and mentors that invested so much time to make this a memorable and rewarding season for our students.
Congratulations to our fantastic award winners on your outstanding achievements!
