6 Ways You Can Celebrate FIRST Signing Day on May 19

FIRST Signing Day 2026

FIRST® Signing Day is almost here, and we can't wait to celebrate the class of 2026!

On May 19, the FIRST community will come together and recognize graduating seniors and their accomplishments as part of FIRST Signing Day. By showing up and cheering these students on as they announce their next steps, we ensure they feel seen, supported, and empowered as they enter their next FIRST chapter: as FIRST alumni.

Class of 2026, whether you’re continuing your education, starting your career, or forging your own unique path, we want to celebrate what’s next with you!

6 Way to Celebrate FIRST Signing Day

Want to get in on the celebration? Check out 6 ways you can participate:

  1. Schools & Teams: Host a FIRST Signing Day celebration to recognize your graduating students.

  2. Schools & Teams: Make it loud on social media! Post photos, videos, and messages celebrating seniors. Make sure to use #FIRSTSigningDay or #FSD2026 and tag FIRST! Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

  3.  Recognize seniors at your next team meeting: Give shoutouts and celebrate their achievements. For example, consider having your seniors’ congratulation cards signed by the whole team!

  4. Class of 2026: Use social media to share your next step and what’s ahead after graduation. We want to hear about your future goals and how your experience with FIRST has supported your journey.

  5. Class of 2026: Explore resources available to FIRST alumni including certifications, scholarships, and alumni groups.

  6. Heading to 2026 FIRST Championship presented by BAE Systems? Stop by the FIRST Signing Day booth in the Innovation Faire to join the celebration in person!

FIRST Graduation Cords

And of course, remember to order your graduation cords so you can celebrate and showcase your FIRST experience on graduation day. FIRST graduation cords are available for purchase in the FIRST Store.
