Pre-Orders for 2027 Scoring Elements

This season we’re again partnering with AndyMark to offer pre-orders for scoring elements for BIOCORE™ presented by Haas.

Pre-orders are starting today, June 8^th on the AndyMark website. Two quantity types will be sold for pre-order purchase: the Kickoff Kit of Parts quantity (am-5901_kop), and partial (1/5) field quantity (am-5901_partial).

Teams can order as many of each as they’d like to meet their team needs and budget. For example, a team that wants a full field of scoring elements can purchase 5x of the partial field quantity. We are intentionally not specifying the number of scoring elements included in each quantity. Pre-orders will be open from now until Kickoff on January 9, 2027. After Kickoff, the scoring elements will be available for regular order and will ship after pre-orders have been fulfilled. Scoring element pre-orders will be prioritized and begin shipping January 11^th in the order they were received.

Sourcing scoring elements for FIRST^® Robotics Competition is always a challenge. For REBUILT^TM presented by Haas, many hours went into engineering, testing, and sourcing a scoring element that would reliably be processed by the Hub and robots. We have done a similar process for BIOCORE and can’t wait for teams to see this new scoring element. As we’ve done in prior seasons, a prediction is made on how many scoring elements will be needed for fields, kits, and team sales. These pre-orders will help forecast demand and allow additional orders to be placed if sales are higher than expected. Pre-orders also allow for orders to be packed and shipped for quick delivery after Kickoff. We recommend placing an order early, especially if your team is planning on ordering quantities for a full field.

We understand that teams want details about the game to help make informed decisions on scoring element purchases. We’re sharing some information now to assist teams with purchasing decisions while still keeping many details a surprise for Kickoff. For the 2027 season:

• BIOCORE has one type of scoring element
• Robots will have a holding limit during the match (the holding limit is more than one)
• All teams will receive a quantity of scoring elements in the Kickoff Kit Season Specific Box greater than the holding limit
• No additional scoring elements will be available through FIRST Choice

The scoring element is a custom item manufactured overseas with properties specific to BIOCORE. While similar items may be available from other sources, the only place to get the official scoring element is in the Kickoff Kit or through AndyMark and their distributors.

BIOCORE scoring element pre-orders are not eligible for return, nor can the order be combined to ship with other AndyMark orders. Payments for the pre-orders cannot be changed after payment has been received.
