Carpet Sales Open

Official FIRST^® Robotics Competition Field Carpets are now available for preorder  until noon eastern Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

This carpet is the same low pile carpet that was used in 2026, and the same that will be used in 2027. While we make commitments on carpet on a year-by-year basis, the supply chain for this carpet is currently stable, and we have no plans to change carpet types in the near future. The carpet is described in Section 5.2 of the Game Manual. FIRST^® and AndyMark are very excited to work together and offer this vital part of the field to teams!

There are a few options available that teams can purchase:

• Full Field:
  • Two (2) rolls of 15 ft x 74 ft carpet are needed to create an official base for the FIRST Robotics Competition Full Field, 30 ft x 74 ft area.
• Half Field (am-5643):
  • For a half field, order one roll of 15 ft x 74 ft carpet. This carpet can be cut in half and taped together for a 30 ft x 37 ft half field.
• Test Area (am-5652):
  • To create a field floor identical to the Test Areas that are at official events, the Test Area size of 15 ft by 30 ft can simply be rolled out and taped down.

Tips for working with carpet: The 3 in. x 55 yds Black Gaffers Field Tape (am-4766) is suggested for taping the carpet edges. To seam joints between carpet rolls we recommend a single sided pressure sensitive (not heat activated) carpet seams tape like this one from Home Depot.

 Payment and Shipping Information:

• AndyMark Customer Service will work directly with purchasers for shipping details. Carpet preorders only includes the cost of the carpet. Customers will be contacted within two weeks of delivery with actual shipping costs. A separate invoice will be created at that time and a payment link provided just for the shipping fees. Customers will have two shipping options: Pick-up at AndyMark, and Delivery.
  • Pick-up at AndyMark
    • Carpets must be picked up within two weeks after AndyMark receives the carpets (estimated Early October).
  • Shipping Costs / Delivery
    • The final cost of shipping is affected by various factors, such as lift gate access, drop-off times, and distance. AndyMark staff will contact customers for all the necessary information to calculate the actual shipping fee. Customers will receive a separate invoice and a payment link within two weeks of delivery for shipping costs. 
• AndyMark can only ship the carpet to locations within the continental United States.
  • If you would like to purchase a carpet outside of the continental US, contact your local AndyMark distributor.
• Purchase Orders will not be accepted for this item.
• Sales will close on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 12:00 pm ET (noon).
• All sales are final. Returns are not accepted for this product.
